OUR SHOP In keeping with our goal of providing you with many options and choices, our custom shop works in conjunction with the five Cabinet Lines that we offer. During the last year, we've been busy building custom furniture, cabinetry, and countertops, with much of our efforts focused on meeting the growing interest in, and demand for, materials from sustainable resources. We have spent a great deal of time researching the advances made in the utilization of chemically inert products and testing protective yet nontoxic finishes. Recently, we have fabricated and installed "Paperstone" countertops, which are manufactured from recycled paper and closely resemble soapstone. Recognizing its nontoxic properties as well as its aesthetic and practical qualities, we have resurrected the linoleum countertop, using Marmoleum. With these projects successfully completed and our shop now well established, we are ready to produce full "green" kitchens with locally milled and harvested lumber and non off-gasing water based finishes. We also produce casework, fixtures, millwork, and tables for commercial applications, using either our newly developed "green" or conventional materials to serve the needs of our nonresidential clients.
