Karen Zeiders

Karen arrived in Ithaca in 1979 to complete a degree in plant science at Cornell but decided against a career in the field because she missed working with people. In 1986, she began working for Bob Baker Kitchens as their "detail person" and discovered her niche in kitchen design. Soon thereafter Karen started her own business, Pine Ridge Designs, which concentrated on designing kitchens and baths that incorporate environmentally friendly features.

Desiring the broader client base that Foster Custom Kitchens offers, she came to us in 2000 and we feel extremely fortunate to have her. Karen has been able to successfully combine the necessity of being detail oriented with her natural creative flair. In working with her, you'll soon discover why she's affectionately called our Kitchen Diva!
